Spring Flowers Card

Monday, March 23, 2009

These are everywhere in blogdom but I love it. I thought it went so well with the "Thanks a Bunch" stamp and so loved the idea. Sadly, I wanted to use bright colors on this card (which is so not like me). And for the first time, SU doesn't have any DSP in the current catalog that is brights (except Pink Flamingo but I wanted a variety). So I used the Summer Picnic paper from last year. Which really should still be available since the Tart and Tangy set is in the current catalog. Can you tell I have a hard time with change? Really, I don't start to like some things until I've looked at it for a year and then it retires. Oh, well...

Very cute! It goes very well with the stamp set you used. And I'm with you! I thought there'd be some brights this SPRING/SUMMER catalog!

how cute! and perfect for spring! I still haven't figured out how SU! does some of their catalog stuff, 'cause there is what I would call 'spring' merchandise on the dormant list, but it must work for them. oh well.... but I do love your little flower pot!
